In Capronno, historic and agrarian village located near Angera, there’s always been a small inn , that lived many changes with the passing of time. The last one dates back to the year 1992 when it became “L’Osteria Vecchia Capronno” managed by the Ronga family. The name “ Ronga” is also written on the plate “Osteria Vecchia Capronno Casa Ronga”. Of course this is a free choice, because the spirit with whom the inn is managed, the attention paid to the cuisine and the reception, have the main purpose to make feel guests as they were at home. While Giovanna and Federico, the parents, attend to the administrative management, their two sons, Carmine in the kitchen and Vincenzo in the dining-room attend to the practical organization of the Osteria. Carmine cooks every day particular dishes using seasonal products which, together with the hand-made pasta, soups , first-quality meat and the very fresh vegetables propose unique menu. Vincenzo is an expert in wine and attends to the reception and to the service. They create a mix of kindliness and professionalism paying attention to the quality of wine and always suggesting the right wine according it to the food. Pies and cakes are Vecchia Capronno’s products.
